Warsaw Metro Selects New VT Repair and Maintenance Providers

Warsaw Metro recently selected two new vertical-transportation (VT) repair and maintenance providers for equipment serving the 1st and 2nd subway lines and the Metro office building, VT industry consultant Luke Ksiezopolski tells ELEVATOR WORLD. Poznań, Poland-based MP Prolift, which is affiliated with Spain’s MP Ascensores, was chosen by the metro to repair and maintain 161 escalators and 114 elevators (including handicapped accessible platform lifts). The Polish division of Schindler was selected to repair and maintain four escalators and 37 elevators (including handicapped accessible platform lifts).
