TEI tells ELEVATOR WORLD it is providing a five-unit elevator system for 98 Dekalb Avenue, a 610-ft-tall, 49-story tower designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Rockrose Development in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, NY. New York YIMBY reported in June the residential skyscraper was on the verge of topping out ahead of anticipated completion in fall 2025. Alternately addressed as 180 Ashland Place, the tower will offer 609 residential units and 3,775 ft2 of commercial space within 418,092 ft2. In June, crews were starting work on the mechanical bulkhead, with façade installation to follow. Design elements include floor-to-ceiling glass and horizontal metal bands and the mechanical bulkhead on the north end of a rectangular floor plate.
