Elevator World Inc.'s prestigious and wildly popular Ellies Awards are on their eighth year recognizing North American vertical-transportation industry businesses that have gone above and beyond for their customers, employees and communities. The Ellies Awards is totally controlled by you. Any company can be nominated within their specific category. The nomination period is July 1 – 17. A company must be nominated to qualify for the voting period. The voting period is August 3 – 7, and anyone can vote. Winners in each category will be announced and presented with their Ellies Award live on stage at the 2026 NAEC Convention in Chicago.

Voting will open on August 3, 2026.

The Ellies Awards recognizes North American vertical-transportation industry businesses that have gone above and beyond for their customers, employees and communities.

Company nominations are open until July 17, 2026. A company must be nominated to get into the voting, and only one nomination is needed.

Contest Rules and Guidelines:

• Nominations period is July 1 – 17, 2026. A company only needs to be nominated once; there is no need to nominate your company multiple times.
• Voting period is August 3 – 7. This is when you want as many real votes as possible from your clients, customers and industry peers. Anyone can vote once per IP address per 24 hours. However, you can vote in as many categories as you like. Please note that if your company shares an IP address for all employees that only one vote will count within the 24-hour time period. In this situation, we encourage people to also vote on their mobile phones, from their home or another location.
• The winners will be announced at a live Ellies Awards Ceremony at the 2026 NAEC Convention in Chicago. Following this ceremony, the winners' list will be posted on this page, emailed to the industry, and highlighted in the December Issue of Elevator World.
• There is one winner from each category and one runner up. Winners will receive a custom Ellies statuette to display in their office or at various industry events, as well as a custom digital logo to use on websites and other marketing materials to promote this accomplishment. Addition Ellies statuettes are available for purchase.
