Inglis Retires From Australia’s LESA Executive Committee

Inglis

John Inglis of Sydney, Australia, lifetime member and past president of the Lift Engineering Society of Australia (LESA), is retiring from LESA’s Executive Committee, LESA President John Tibbetts announced. Instrumental in setting up LESA, Inglis’ “wisdom, knowledge and commitment to LESA have been one of the driving forces” that helped the society grow and gain recognition, Tibbetts observed, thanking Inglis for his many years of service to LESA. Owner of Amron Lift Resources, Inglis has consulted on elevators, performed code work and made expert reports, mainly in Australia, for nearly 80 years, having begun his career at age 16 and continuing to consult even into his 90s.
