LECS UK Appoints Ford as Director

Vertical-transportation (VT) consultancy LECS UK has appointed Michael Ford as director. Ford will work closely with fellow Director Lee Dean and CEO Dave Cooper to guide the company’s ambitious growth strategy. LECS UK consults across all forms of VT, including lifts, escalators, cable cars and funiculars, “offering endless opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects.” Ford joined LECS UK as a project engineer three years ago and played a key role in leading significant projects across the U.K., with a special interest in bespoke assignments and cutting-edge technology. Ford will also lead on the company’s technical and training strategy. With a degree in engineering, Ford has more than 18 years’ experience in the industry. He is also an accredited witness for cases involving VT accident and injury. Prior to joining LECS UK, Ford had a successful eight-year tenure at Allianz Engineering Construction and Power.
