CECA Announces MCP Updates

The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) announced it has added further verbiage to its disclaimer on the Maintenance Control Program (MCP) logbooks and Maintenance Requirement Logs, as well as updated Appendix A in its documents. Additionally, all updated MCPs can be found on the CECA website in the members only section under the applicable codes. CECA’s MCP document and logbooks have been widely accepted and are available in the 2013, 2016 and 2019 codes. The newest documents have been modified to allow for any additional provincial requirements and have been sent to the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) across Canada for their review and input.
