Lift AI Acquires eMCP to “Transform Elevator Maintenance and Management”

Lift AI, based in Detroit, announced on January 7 it has acquired Tennessee-headquartered eMCP LLC, a pioneer in automated maintenance control programs (MCPs) for elevators. The acquisition expands Lift AI’s platform to include more than 3,000 elevators, while enhancing its role as the “leading platform driving innovation, transparency, and accountability in the global elevator industry.” Lift AI is a technology platform enabled by IoT and AI that empowers property owners, managers and elevator companies to thrive in the digital era of elevators. Its solutions are designed to drive smarter maintenance, real-time insights and greater efficiency, improving elevator performance and optimizing costs. eMCP was founded to deliver transparent, accountable and code-compliant maintenance programs. Customers using its platform have reported up to a 70% reduction in callbacks, extended equipment lifecycles and improved ride quality.
