U.K.-Based Insurer HSB Taps Business Development Managers

Sharon Evans and Ross Tyler

HSB, a provider of specialty insurance and inspection/risk-management services to industries including vertical transportation, has appointed Sharon Evans and Ross Tyler as business development managers, HSB announced on October 11. Evans and Tyler will focus on implementing HSB’s sales strategies across distribution channels to support corporate objectives and growth for the company, which provides insurance in the U.K. and Ireland related to construction, equipment breakdown, cybersecurity and energy. Based in Yorkshire County and the North East U.K., Evans has more than 30 years’ insurance experience including brokering, underwriting and sales. Tyler will be based in the East Anglia region in the East of England. He has more than seven years’ insurance experience, working in property/casualty, fleet, construction and inspection. HSB is part of Munich Re.
