The car interior features 12 wooden-core panels faced with Avonite surfaces. Some panels are accented with 1/8- X 1-in., stainless-steel, 4-ga. satin bars. All panels are held in place with aluminum Z-clips.

United Elevator Cabs, Inc. of Jamaica, New York, recently modernized the cabin of an elevator at 66 West 38th Street, also called “Atlas New York,” in New York City’s Garment District. The residential building has gained much recognition due to the Project Runway TV show’s routine housing of its contestants there. It is also known for lavish rooftop parties, which have attracted the likes of Lady Gaga.
