Anniversary at Mount Tianping

Anniversary-at-Mount-Tianping

The first anniversary of the tourist elevator on Mount Tianping, China, was celebrated in February. The 120-m-tall Sicher GROS20 elevator can carry 1,260 passengers per hour and was challenging to install, because, according to the Shanghai Elevator Trade Association, the landmark could not “do harm to the Tianping style.” Germany Sicher designed the unit, and China Sicher Elevator manufactured it.
