KEB America Certified to New ISO Standard
KEB America, Inc. has announced the ISO 9001:2015 certification of its Shakopee, Minnesota, production facility. The certification was issued after the facility met the criteria set by The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and passed an audit displaying zero nonconformities. ISO 9001:2015 applies to a facility’s quality-management and quality-assurance systems. The company had previously been certified under 9001:2008. The 2015 standard is similar in many ways to the previous one, but with an additional focus on risk management. KEB was able to demonstrate processes to address issues posted by ISO in this area and reevaluated and updated its plans.
