ECNY Supplier Showcase

A brief look back at the Elevator Conference of New York’s second-annual supplier showcase

The Elevator Conference of New York (ECNY) hosted its second-annual Supplier Showcase on April 6 at the Villa Barone Catering Hall in Bronx, New York. More than 500 industry members attended the event, including building owners, consultants, suppliers and contractors, in addition to members of associated industries such as security (a hot topic in the real-estate industry). ECNY President Kenneth Breglio, Douglas Gilman and Bobby “Dee” Defrancesco helped coordinate the event and expressed enthusiasm for the support and turnout.

More than 64 company representatives were present and addressed various aspects of the elevator industry, ranging from equipment supplies to cabs. Among the major industry representatives in attendance were the Department of Buildings, Elevator/Escalator Safety Authority and National Association of Elevator Contractors.

During the event, many suppliers utilized the networking opportunities to discuss products with existing and potential clients. Attendees considered the networking and discussions to be one of the major benefits to participating in the event.
