TKE expands EOX platform with EOX-H.

submitted by TKE

The platform of EOX products, TK Elevator’s (TKE) new energy-saving and natively digital elevator produced with 100% green electricity and requiring up to 28% less energy to operate thanks to regenerative-drive technology, a new eco-mode and weight-optimized design, has been expanded with the release of the new EOX-H — hydraulic elevator. EOX-H is specifically engineered to meet the demands of buildings with up to three landings or 28 ft of rise. Boasting eco-friendly and standby modes to save energy and reduce emissions, EOX-H offers space-saving design, advanced technology, reduced lead times and is optimized for most budgets. The new product includes all of the digital and safety features, advanced packaging and jobsite readiness of the EOX platform combined with an efficient propulsion system suited for low-rise applications. Additional features of EOX-H include:

  • Digitally native features to increase uptime and extend product lifespan with enhanced in-car sensors to monitor entrance safety and passenger ride quality
  • Linear door operator, controller, controller in-jamb disconnects, power units and jack unit (holeless design) to provide a smooth, quiet, fast and reliable ride to a destination
  • Advanced traffic-pattern “learning” and digital services to increase uptime, extend product lifespan and improve the passenger experience
  • MAX, the elevator industry’s first cloud- and Internet of Things-based digital predictive-maintenance service to allow smarter service and maintenance along with transparency and peace-of-mind for customers while supporting AI in the future
  • In-car multimedia display — the same cab and on-board infotainment screen from EOX’s traction product to enrich animated travel information with the latest news and weather forecasts
  • A quiet, smooth-operating, reliable propulsion system that uses energy only when going up

Developed with technology from Microsoft and NVIDIA, EOX transforms the everyday elevator into a digital device, as easily updated as a smartphone. TKE manufactures EOX products domestically using 100% renewable energy, and they are designed, qualified and tested at TKE’s LEED Gold-certified Innovation and Qualification Center in Atlanta. Additionally, TKE has trained more than 200 LEED Green associates and BREEAM associates across North America to help architects, general contractors and building owners obtain green-building certifications for their projects.

TKE CEO Americas Jeremy Rainwater said:

“With the launch of this hydraulic traction option from our EOX product platform, TKE is building on our legacy and market leadership in sustainability, safety and hydraulic propulsion. With EOX-H, we’ve combined the innovative digital features of the original platform with the reliable and efficient operations of a hydraulic system, creating a trustworthy, everyday elevator perfectly suited for the value end of the low-rise market.”
