Residential Elevator Range

Sweden-based specialty elevator manufacturer Aritco is promoting its latest residential elevators, offering homeowners a range of models: the standard HomeLift, the small-footprint 4000 and the HomeLift Access, specially designed to give residents extra accessibility. Aritco HomeLift gives owners an “extra feature” of their homes that focuses on luxury while providing “full potential” to the residence. Key features are tailored design, including art lighting controllable via the SmartLift app; operation via the SmartControl; and accident prevention via SmartSafety. Aritco provides numerous style options through its DesignWalls, developed through collaborations with prominent Scandinavian designers and artists. HomeLift is available in various sizes from two-person, 250-kg loads up to five-person, 400-kg units. All operate via a patented screw-and-nut system, either 230 V 1-phase or 400 V 3-phase, with a speed of 0.15 m/s (0.3 m/s outside Europe), press-and-hold control (one-touch press outside Europe) and battery-powered emergency lowering. The unit can operate from two to six floors. Compliance is with European Machine Directive 2006/42/EC and standard EN 81-41. Those requiring a smaller, more-compact elevator may choose the 4000 model, available as a two-rider unit that handles up to 250 kg and travels from two to six floors. Those who have special needs for accessibility may choose the HomeLift Access model, with special accessories such as an optional “half-height door” on the top floor. Most Access models can accommodate a wheelchair user (either single ride or assisted) and from two to six passengers. Load can range from 250 kg up to 500 kg. Range is two to six floors. In addition to Sweden, Aritco has offices in the U.K., Germany, Spain, China and Thailand (covering Southeast Asia).
