A reported 25 guests from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, U.A.E. and Russia attended the meeting, held at Fermator’s Middle East Regional Office in Akasya Acıbadem, one of the newest iconic buildings of Istanbul. Fermator Global Sales Director Eduard Amigó took the floor next, stating that the only consolation experienced during the 2021 storm disaster was that there were no injuries or deaths. Amigó offered detail pointing out how Fermator prevented any delays by distributing production to other factories, a move that maintained all orders, including the procurement agreement entered with TK Elevator — a meeting held just before the incident that allowed deliveries to be brought on time. Amigó stated that the factory was remobilized after a one year of reconstruction and preparation. He also noted that the staff missed being with guests from all over the world.

Amigó then introduced Massimo Santambrogio, CEO of Fermator’s other brand, Italian motor manufacturer Sicor. Santambrogio said he took office just before the pandemic struck, so he was very happy to meet in-person with international guests after two years. He underlined that the whole Sicor team was ready for any kind of support during this tough period.
