Communications Monitoring Module
WAGO has introduced the Pro 2 EtherNet/IP with MQTT communications module, an add-on to its Pro 2 Power Supplies package (ELEVATOR WORLD, June 2020) that has multiple applications, including in the elevator industry. The communications module adds a new level of monitoring, as well as control of power supplies and DC subsystems. With an intuitive web interface, this communications module can quickly commission the power supply and help identify potential problems in real time with data such as current and voltage, along with other warnings and alarms. The module can be used on newly designed or existing systems with upgrade capabilities, and has the ability to be reconfigured on the fly. WAGO also offers add-on instructions to make integration with other programmable logic controllers quick and easy.
Versatile Elevator Doors
Kohtler Elevator Industries headquartered in Opa-locka, Florida, offers VERS@QUICK Elevator Doors, providing the flexibility to be installed right- or left-handed and avoiding the common mistake of ordering the wrong hand, in turn saving time and money. VERS@QUICK’S main features are:
- Un-handed (can be used in both right- and left-hand opening configurations)
- Drilled for GAL equipment or undrilled for quick installation
- Option available for all size openings
- UL label up to 10 ft, 2 in of door thickness
- Specifications include:

- Hardware including gibs, fire tabs and astragals
- Stainless steel, Muntz, power-coat paint and plastic laminate finishes
Analog Converters
WAGO’s new IP67-rated I/O-Link Analog Converters offer a solution for incorporating traditional analog sensors and actuators with IO-Link communication protocols. The 765-2702/200-000 has two 0-10 VDC inputs that are converted to IO-Link for monitoring field-level sensors. The 765-2703/200-000 has two 4-20 mA analog outputs, while the 765-2704/200-000 has two 0-10 VDC analog outputs. Both devices will convert IO-Link signals to analog outputs. All devices can be set up using IO-Link configuration tools such as WAGO’s IO-Link configurator software. WAGO observes these devices are “ideal for new systems as they take advantage of the benefits offered by IO-Link.” Users seeking to update older systems to digital communications can also use the compact IP67 devices.
