Shaftless, through-floor residential elevator

submitted by Pollock Lifts

The Pollock Lifts residential elevator is the company’s most popular product, and it is now being distributed around the world. Providing smooth and quiet through-floor travel, the shaftless elevator includes external controls on both floors and is equipped with the company’s new Intelligent Logic Diagnostic Display offering a wealth of benefits to the user, including a trip counter and service-due indicator along with a lift fault memory log and fault source identifier. Quick and easy to install with minimal building work required, the lift is located close to the wall but is not attached to the wall. When the lift is not in the room, homeowners can enjoy all their living space. The residential elevator comes in three sizes — compact, twin and large — with three cabin heights. It uses traction drive as standard for a comfortable travel experience.

The residential elevator offers a soft start and stop, quieter travel, smaller footprint, higher travel distance, is less expensive to run and is environmentally friendly. There are extensive optional extras available, including a Bluetooth option to operate the lift remotely using a phone and a voice activation option using Alexa integration where Alexa calls the lift for you. There’s also the option to change the color of the LED lighting using a remote control.

Pollock Lifts, operating since 1983, is Ireland’s only residential elevator manufacturer providing access through the latest technology. The company also has showrooms across North America and a headquarters in Florida; there is stock available in Miami for immediate delivery. The company’s digital control system provides a wealth of benefits not only for end users, but also for installers and service engineers with an easier installation process, simplified servicing and reduced fault finding.
