AEEE meets in Tehran, Iran.

A meeting of the Association for Elevator and Escalator Engineering (AEEE) was held with the cooperation of the University of Applied Science and Technology, the Engineering System Organization and the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization in the presence of academic staff and industrialists at Koosha College of Applied Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran, on August 15.  

In attendance were Dr. Pishbin, manager of the University of Applied Science and Technology (Tehran Branch), Eng. Momeni from the Engineering System Organization and Eng. Hormozan from the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization. The event brought together experts, professors and industrialists. A reading of the Quran and singing of the national anthem took place at 9:30 to kick things off. 

After thanking outstanding industrialists and professors for attending, Koosha College Dean Dr. Sajadi declared that, once again, association members and associates utilize elevator industry knowledge to achieve collective goals, updating technical knowledge and hosting training sessions.

Then, Eng. Momeni from the Engineering System Organization gave a talk on engineering and technical services provided by the organization. Afterward, Eng. Hormozan from the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization declared that elevator industry history is being made in Iran and the world thanks to cooperation that is leading to increasing skill levels and technical knowledge.

AEEE’s goal is to create an active environment and cooperation with other organizations to advance the elevator industry.

After that, Eng. Gheitasi, head of the association’s elevator engineering department, spoke about the role of the association and its cooperation with other organizations, its goals and its mission. Then, Eng. Serri delivered a speech on the association’s circumstances and its members. The goal, he said, is to create an active environment and cooperation with other organizations to advance the elevator industry.

Eng. Kohansal then spoke about the board of directors, the secretary, inspectors and financial resources of the association. At the end, Dr. Sekhavat responded to audience questions and talked about the association’s role in facilitating good communications with the industry.

The permanent members who will serve on the new Board of Directors are Amirhossein Yasan (Chairman), Sohrab Qeitasi (Vice President), Qolamreza Serri, Reza Baratali, Saeid Ershadikia.
