Baltimore’s 44-story 414 Light Street has topped out, making it Maryland’s tallest residential tower, Skyrise Cities reported. The Solomon Cordwell Buenz-designed tower should be ready for occupancy sometime this year. When it opens, 414 Light Street will have 394 luxury apartments, parking for 469 cars and rooftop amenity space, including gardens, pools and lounge areas. Other amenities include a game room, an entertainment kitchen and dining bar, a resident salon and theater, a fireside retreat room, a private fitness club and a pet spa, plus about 12,300 sq. ft. of retail space.

The building is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver certified and offers energy-efficient appliances, electric vehicle charging stations and a bicycle-sharing program. Developer Questar is in the process of designing another tower, planned to stand 50 stories.
