Case 1: Complete Modernization of a Residential Lift in Goa

Site condition: At a residential site in Goa, the lift had become non-operational due to a very old, discrete control board with a V3F control panel. The existing system included a 4 kW machine-room-less (MRL) gearless motor with a current rating of 10 A, servicing a building with four floors. The challenge was to provide a solution that would restore the lift’s functionality.

Our Modernization Solution

Following a thorough assessment of the site, we collected all necessary details from the customer and shared them with our engineering team. Based on the findings, we proposed a 10 A MRL gearless monoblock control panel along with additional support from 10 batteries. This setup, integrated with a contactor system, ensured the lift would become fully operational once again.

Case 2: Partial Modernization of a Heavy-Duty Lift at an Industrial Site in Surat 

Site condition: At an industrial site in Surat, the lift, which had been in operation for more than 15 years, required modernization to enhance its efficiency. Given the lift’s critical role in transporting goods and passengers across the 10-floor facility, improving its performance was essential. The existing system featured a geared motor with a power rating of 11.5 kW, 28 A, 23.2 Hz and 659 RPM, and a solution was needed to ensure it operated optimally for the site.

Our Modernization Solution

After conducting a detailed site assessment and gathering the necessary information from the customer, we determined that safety upgrades were also essential. We proposed the Arcode MR 36 A geared panel, equipped with power contactors for automatic evacuation and a manual rescue circuit. In addition, we integrated a UPS system with 10 batteries and provided a custom brake circuit solution to meet the specific needs of the site. This comprehensive approach ensured the lift would operate efficiently and safely.
