Jan 1, 2017
Construction began on the Lumen at Tysons, a mixed- use 32-story apartment building adjacent to the Greensboro Metro station in Tysons Corner just outside Washington, D.C., in November 2016. In addition to the apartments, the development will have more than 11,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail space, The Washington Post reported. It will have 398 apartments of 500-1,600 sq. ft. each, and entertaining spaces with catering kitchens, a clubroom and lounge, a fitness and yoga center, a dog-grooming spa, and a rooftop mini dog park. The rooftop level will have indoor and outdoor lounges with fireplaces. It is expected to be complete in fall 2018.
