Rajpushpa Provincia

The growing influx of high-rise and modern residential buildings in India has created the necessity to incorporate efficient vertical-transportation (VT) systems into these multistory building infrastructures, as they help to make vertical mobility quick, easy and convenient. In the bid to contribute to the revolutionized era of the Indian market, Mitsubishi Elevator has been providing technological advancement and state-of-the-art industrial solutions.

In line with its commitment to innovate the best for the country, the company recently completed a major project at one of the tallest and largest towers of South India’s residential community. Mitsubishi Elevator India secured an order to supply 102 elevator units to Rajpushpa Provincia, consisting of 11 blocks and 3,496 flats holding an area of 23.75 acres of luxurious residential set-up in Hyderabad, Telangana. This project of Rajpushpa Properties Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading firms for high-rise building projects, comprises 11 towers and G+39 floors with four basements.

The close evaluation of this residential building helped in the company’s decision to supply a total of 102 elevators, out of which 88 units are high-rise elevators serving floors 43-45, having a capacity of 750 kg (passenger) and 1350 kg (service) with 2.5 mps (machine room), and 14 mid-rise elevator units for the clubhouse/podium, serving up to 10 floors with a capacity of 680 kg (passenger) and 1020 kg (service) with 1.75 m/s speed (machine room less [MRL]).

Due to active customer loyalty by Rajpushpa Properties Pvt. Ltd., Mitsubishi Elevator India was a collaborative part of this project from the infrastructure design initiation stage. This helped to ensure necessary technical and design customization required for elevator installation.

In each tower, there are six passenger elevators with a speed of 2.5 m/s comprised of two banks of three-car groupings. This functional combination helps to improve building-traffic efficiency, convenience, comfort and passenger holding strength. Similarly, for service activity, two units of service elevators with sufficient cabin area and capacity have been provided.

Mitsubishi Elevator India has supplied machine-room elevators for the high-rise segments and MRL elevator units for the mid-rise segments, ensuring efficiency, comfort, easy maintenance and minimal time consumption for this prestigious project, meeting its luxurious requirements.

The most important highlight for the Rajpushpa Provincia project is that this is the first-ever residential project in Hyderabad to implement MelEye (Mitsubishi Elevator Monitoring System). MelEye is a technology developed to closely observe the operational status of elevators that handle continuously changing passenger traffic.

The application of the latest network technologies has also greatly increased the number of controllable vertical-mobility systems, which minimizes the amount spent on facilities such as supervisory rooms and monitors.

This allows building managers to rapidly respond to changing traffic patterns, thus optimizing the performance of elevators and escalators, and maximizing the efficiency of the whole building. The application of the latest network technologies has also greatly increased the number of controllable vertical-mobility systems, which minimizes the amount spent on facilities such as supervisory rooms and monitors. MelEye, developed by Mitsubishi Elevator, serves as a comprehensive solution for futuristic building-traffic monitoring systems, enhancing VT systems.

The Rajpushpa Provincia project theme is “Live the abundant life as abundance begins here. Be more, Do more.” It is a self-contained living habitat where customers have the opportunity to own a home in one of the largest multi-cultural residential communities of Hyderabad.

This residential project boasts abundant open spaces with elaborate landscaping and bodies of water. The sky-high towers boast a panoramic view of the picturesque Outer Ring Road, visible from the apartments. Provincia is one of the tallest towers in Narsingi, Hyderabad — with G+39 floors, a landmark on its own.

There is 60 ft of space between the towers for maximum sunlight and air ventilation and abundant open space with minimum building footprint and two grand clubhouses (1.5 lakh ft2) for fun and recreational activities. Rajapushpa Provincia is nestled in the quiet locale of Narsingi, one of the most sought-after residential destinations of West Hyderabad.

Rajpushpa Properties Pvt. Ltd. has had good experience with Mitsubishi Elevator India Pvt. Ltd. in its previous projects. Similarly, the architect, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) and VT consultant prefer Mitsubishi Elevator design parameters, which were the major decision drivers for securing this project.

Mitsubishi Electric India looks forward to expanding its share in the premium market by offering new technologies, innovation and accelerating functional development of elevators to meet current social needs. Globally, India is the second largest market for new elevators and escalators after China, and Mitsubishi Elevator India will continue to focus on growing its market share by providing intelligent solutions to modern multistory residential, commercial and industrial building infrastructures, as it caters to being more efficient and technologically powered.
