“Show-Stopping” Office Tower Rising Outside Paris
Apr 1, 2017
What is being described by anchor tenant Saint-Gobain as a “show-stopping” 39-story, 178-m-tall office tower, designed by Valode & Pistre Architects, is rising just west of the Paris city limits in the La Défense business district, SkyRise Cities reported. The glassy building will feature a boxy, transparent crown that will provide views into and out of a rooftop garden. Greenspace will be interspersed throughout the building, which, in addition to 48,600 m2 of office space, will have 400 m2 of retail. Developed by Italian insurance company Generali Group and Hines, the structure is scheduled for completion in 2019.
