The Turkish Lift Industrialists Federation (TASFED) Board of Directors organized a series of meetings in Samsun and Trabzon in October.

On October 11, 2024, TASFED Board Members and the Samsun Central Black Sea Lift and Escalator Businessmen’s Association (OKASDER) gathered for a breakfast meeting at the Golf Club. Attendees included the Provincial Director of Industry Selahattin Altınsoy, KOSGEB Provincial Director Nebahat Livaoğlu and representatives from the Provincial Directorate of Industry. Livaoğlu provided comprehensive insights into KOSGEB’s support initiatives and European funding programs. The Provincial Directorate of Industry noted that 85% of complaints submitted to CIMER pertained to lifts. The meeting concluded with a review of the draft regulation and a collaborative exchange with association members.
In the afternoon, the TASFED Board participated in a discussion session with the OKASDER members at their headquarters. Altınsoy also joined, and TASFED Chairman Cem BOZDAĞ provided industry updates followed by a Q&A session. The event wrapped up with dinner for the attendees.
On October 12, 2024, TASFED Board members met with the Eastern Black Sea Lift Industrialists Association (DOKAS) at the Zorlu Grand Hotel. Discussions centered on the Federation’s draft regulatory proposal submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with an in-depth review of sector challenges and proposed solutions. The Trabzon program concluded with a dinner hosted by the DOKAS Board of Directors.
