The Turkish Elevator Industrialists Federation (TASFED) visited TASFED member associations in Gaziantep and Diyarbakır on August 4-6 and met with regional companies.
The first meeting was between the Board of Directors (BOD) of Gaziantep Elevator and Escalator Industrialists Association (GAYSAD) and the TASFED BOD on August 4. Discussions were held regarding the establishment of Gaziantep TASFED Academy, which is planned to be opened in Gaziantep Abdülhamidhan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School when all the equipment procured for the training of students is ready. In addition, sectoral problems and solution proposals were discussed. Subsequently, TASFED Board of Directors held its ordinary board meeting with a broad agenda before noon on August 6. In the afternoon, TASFED Board Members came together with the members of Southeastern Anatolia Elevator Association (GÜNEYSAD) and held a conversation about sectoral problems, solution proposals and the expectations of member associations. On the evening of the same day, GÜNEYSAD Association Members welcomed the Federation BOD at a traditional “sıra” night.
