TASİS Football Field Carpet Tournament

Akkaya Lift was the champion at the football tournament organized by TASİS in Istanbul.

 All-Elevator Industry Employers’ Union (TASİS), founded last year as the one and only union for the lift and escalator industry under the guidance of the Elevator and Escalator Industrialists Association (ASSDER), organized a football tournament in Istanbul, and the champion was Akkaya Lift. TASİS’ first Football Field Carpet Tournament started with 16 teams composed of four groups on June 11, and the final match was played between Akkaya Lift and YMZ Lift at the Yakacık Vocational and Technical High School’s field on July 30. The industry members and their families who came to watch the match were offered döner kebab and ayran free of charge by the sponsors. At the end of the final match, which was played in a quite sincere and friendly atmosphere, the winner was Akkaya Lift with a score of 5-0 after a busy pace of one hour. YMZ Lift and 216 Lift were granted cups for ranking second and third at the tournament, respectively, while DESA Lift ranked fourth. At the cup ceremony organized at the end of the final match, Akkaya Lift was granted the first-place cup by TASİS Board Chairman Turgay Kuluğ, YMZ Lift was granted the second-place cup by TASİS Vice Chairman Ersin Demircan and 216 Lift was granted the third-place cup by TASİS Technical Committee President Ahmet Ekelik.
