TASIS Wins 84 Lawsuits Filed in 2023

The All Elevator Industry Employers’ Union (TASIS) published its 2023 activity report. Established at the end of 2022, the union extensively toured Türkiye in 2023, conducting more than 50 meetings with its members. It has succeeded in reaching important precedent decisions, especially with its legal campaign against the fines imposed within the scope of PGD. The resolution of 84 cases in 2023 out of the hundreds filed establishes significant precedents for the sector. Turgay Kuluğ, President of TASIS, issued a statement on the matter, observing, “Our legal department will persist in supporting the judicial and legal processes of our member businesses, whether related to legislation or irregularities in practice. We would like to take this opportunity to once again congratulate our lawyers who contributed to the precedent-setting decisions.”

In 2023, the number of lawsuits filed and followed up by TASIS Legal Counseling Department was reported as 361.
