Nicholas J. Montesano

Nicholas J. Montesano is president of DTM Elevator Consulting Service, Inc., a 25-year-old full-service vertical-transportation consultancy. Montesano began his career in 1979 as an apprentice for Millar Elevator Industries. He is also an active supporter of industry nonprofit organizations. He is very active in the National Association of Vertical Transportation Professionals and is a past president and charter member. He served as treasurer of the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation and is chairman of the elevator and escalator code and regulation committee for the Building Owners and Managers Association of New York. Montesano was elected to the Elevator Conference of New York (ECNY)’s board of directors in 2003 and currently chairs the ECNY membership committee. He is a licensed QEI supervisor.
