We have adapted this for speed and efficiency, reduced labor needs and a faster construction cycle. By using technology, we have enhanced the strength of structure and seismic resistance while also reducing leakages. It is also cost-effective as it minimizes material wastage, lowers maintenance costs, labor cost and maximizes usable space with high quality.

SSP: Elevators and escalators play a key role in real estate; what is the level of importance given to their planning, procurement and placement in your projects? How do you approach aspects like foot-traffic analysis?

AA: Several parameters are taken into consideration while planning projects. Some of the most significant are building height, number of floors, speed of the lift, number of flats per floor, average number of family members per flat, total number of residences in the building and outsiders’ footfall at each flat including domestic help, drivers, delivery professionals and visitors. These factors help decide the capacity of lifts in terms of size and number. When it comes to choosing any brand for planning, procurement and placement of elevators in our projects, importance is given to the past records, availability of elevators, time to the delivery, installation process, prompt service, accessibility of the elevator company’s professionals, after-sales service, annual maintenance charges and customer reviews.
