Adam J. Scott
Adam J. Scott has been operations director and VT technical director at Sweco UK in London since 2003. Scott is also chairman of the CIBSE Lifts Group and its current codes and standards representative. He was chairman of the CIBSE Guide D Executive Committee for the document’s 2020 revision. He sits on the British Standards Institute’s MHE4 technical committee and is the U.K. nominated expert for Working Group 7 dealing with the revision of the EN 81-70 accessibility standard. He is also a regular member of the BCO Vertical Transportation Technical Peer Review Committee. Scott started his career in the lift industry some 30 years ago with Otis in London.
