Seth Rogen once had an awkward encounter with Bono, U2 lead singer, and it happened in, you guessed it, an elevator. The Independent reported that the American actor shared the story in a recent interview on The Late Late Show when dicussing his new book, Yearbook. Among the stories in the book, Rogen writes about a certain phenomenon famous people in elevators experience. “You find yourself in elevators with other famous people a lot that you don’t know – and something makes you think that you should communicate with one another,” said Rogen. He recalled how he had met Bono in an elevator at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York. “I remember him looking at me being like, ‘I feel like I should talk to him, he’s another famous person,’ and he made a joke about being short,” said Rogen on the talk show. While we might not have regular conversations with celebrities, it’s nice to know that their elevator conversations can be just as awkward as ours.
