It’s Raining Raccoons at the EW Office

Over the first weekend of the new year, temperatures began to drop across the U.S., including in Mobile, Alabama, home of ELEVATOR WORLD’s headquarters. Attempting to find shelter from the weather, a furry friend entered the attic of EW’s office on the morning of Saturday, January 4, only to find that the panels in the ceiling of the level below were not as weight bearing as it’d hoped. Much to the raccoon’s and EW’s President and CEO T. Bruce MacKinnon’s surprise, the intruder fell from the second floor, through the ceiling to the ground floor in the back of the EW office. As security cameras captured video of the raccoon visitor falling through the ceiling and wandering through the hallways trying to find an exit, MacKinnon raced from his home, where he was enjoying his morning coffee, to the office to usher the raccoon out safely. Just another wild day at EW!
