Royal Caribbean is literally “raising the bar” on all its Oasis Class ships. The Rising Tide Bar on Symphony of the Seas takes passengers on a journey from the Royal Promenade main deck to Central Park (an open-air deck with more than 20,000 plants, as well as retail boutiques and restaurants). The world’s first moving bar at sea, the attraction allows guests to enjoy cocktails as the bar slowly descends and ascends. The three-level journey takes 8 min in each direction, and there is a 30 min pause at the top to allow passengers to get off and on the lift.

The oval-shaped bar area is gated with glass barriers to avoid obstructing the view. Seating for approximately 25 people includes tables, chairs and cushioned stools. Patrons aged 21 years and older for sailings from North America (and 18-plus on cruises from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand) can enjoy a beverage while people-watching and enjoying the ship’s scenery. The Rising Tide Bar can be found on Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas.
