About the Role: We are seeking a versatile Mechanical Engineer to lead the evolution and field support of our door operator and safety hardware. This role bridges the gap between high-level engineering and real-world execution. You will ensure our products—designed for high-ridership and harsh environments—deliver on their promise of reliability and simplicity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering & Design: Optimize the mechanical integrity of door operators and safety restrictors to ensure a "Drop-in fit" for legacy systems and faster field swap-outs.
  • On-Site Surveys: Conduct detailed site surveys to evaluate existing elevator footprints, ensuring our "Plug-and-Play" solutions are perfectly tailored for modernization projects.
  • Expert Troubleshooting: Act as a critical technical resource by troubleshooting complex mechanical issues with customers both over the phone and on-site.
  • Field Support & Training: Provide "Real-world guidance" to resolve issues quickly and lead hands-on training programs for installation and maintenance.
  • Compliance & Reliability: Ensure all designs maintain ASME A17.1 compliance while prioritizing interchangeability and ease of service for field technicians.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in motion control or elevator hardware design.
