ASSOCIAÇÃO NACIONAL DOS INDUSTRIAIS DE ELEVADORES E ESCADAS ROLANTES (ANIEER)

ANIEER is an association whose members are elevation area companies, performing its activities in Portugal.

The purpose of ANIEER is to study, develop, promote, disseminate, and defend the industry and services related to elevators, escalators, moving walks and related devices, as well as other related services, and it is responsible for promoting and practicing everything that may contribute to their progress.

As part of the above purpose, ANIEER develops the following activities:

·         To study matters relating to industry and services in the field of elevators and escalators, escalators, and the like.

·         Contribute to better contact and cooperation between companies and entities related to the above-mentioned branch, in the aspects of training, regulations, quality and safety.

·         Participate in the drafting of standards, regulations, and other technical documentation applicable to the various areas of activity included in the field.

·         Ensure and increase contact with and representation of the official entities related to the sector before them.

·         Promote the dissemination and application of national and European rules and regulations applicable in the various areas of activity, with a view to improving the safety of users.

·         Promote actions to improve working conditions, safety at work and technical training at various levels.

·         To ensure and increase relations with national or foreign private entities in the sector and in the field of standardization in general.
