EUROPEAN LIFT ASSOCIATION (ELA)
The objective of ELA is to collect and update information, to set up databases and publish statistics on equipment and services, to participate in codes and standards formulations and to promote quality, safety and technical standards and to generally promote the installation and safe use of lifts, escalators & moving walks throughout the continent.

Responsibilities:
Representation of the industry at numerous European Commission, CEN, ISO and other organizations’ committees and expert groups. Organization of seminars, presence at fairs, publication of news, distribution of awards, etc.
Representation:
ELA is the successor of the European Forum of National Lift Associations (EFLA). Membership is open to the lift & escalator associations from all European Union & European Free Trade Area countries. It includes the European Elevator Association (EEA)
