Thames Valley Controls Ltd started life as Thames Valley Lift Company. Originally based in Staines, London, it was established in 1971 to meet the requirements of the growing independent lift market in the UK. Rapid growth led to the business relocating in 1978 to Flint, North Wales. In 1994 it was acquired by Dewhurst Plc, the independent global supplier of quality components to the lift, transport and keypad industries. Thames Valley Controls Ltd has continued to supply best-in-class lift control and monitoring solutions to businesses all over the UK. In September 2019 we became part of the Vantage Elevator Solutions group along with GAL Manufacturing, Hollister-Whitney, GAL Canada, Courion, Bore-Max and Elevator Controls.
