Updates on Osaka City Yodogawa Ward Jusanhigashi Plan, a tentatively named project located near Hankyu Juso Station in Osaka, Japan, were recently reported by Blue Style. In August 2022, construction began on a 39-story apartment building and nine-story vocational school. The project is a redevelopment of the former Yodogawa Ward Office and the Waterworks Bureau. The 712-unit apartment building planned on the east site will include shops, two libraries, childcare and afterschool facilities and a post office. Designed by Kajima Corporation, Rui Design Office, and built by Hankyu Hanshin Real Estate, construction should be completed by the end of May 2026. The campus of Reseisha International Medical Sports College, designed and built by Takamatsu Construction, will be situated on the west site. The 6,700 m2 school is scheduled for completion by March 2024.
