More than 260 attendees, including 125 directly associated with the elevator industry, enjoyed the fourth annual “Steaks, Stogies and Cannolis” fundraising event the evening of April 17 at Tallman State Park in Tallman, NY. Supporting the charitable work of Sons of Italy Rockland Lodge #2176, the event was hosted by Greg DeCola of VDA, Inc. In attendance were representatives of Start Elevator; Dynasty Elevator; Helios; Metro Elevator; United Cabs, Inc.; Regency Elevator Cabs; Diversified Elevator Products, LLC; and LCD Elevator, Inc.; among others. The Rockland Lodge Order of The Sons of Italy was established on September 20, 1966, and has rapidly evolved into one of the largest and most vibrant organizations in Rockland County. One of the key missions of the Rockland Lodge is to amplify the image of individuals of Italian descent, reinforcing their invaluable contributions to society. — reported by EW Correspondent Matthew Jackson
