Alimak’s 3Q Results Show “Resilience in a Challenging Market”

Stockholm, Sweden-headquartered Alimak Group announced on October 23 it is showing “resilience in a challenging market” during the third quarter (3Q). Order intake decreased by 3% to SEK1.54 billion (US$1.64 billion), an organic increase of 4%. There were positive contributions from the Construction and Industrial (which includes rack-and-pinion elevators) divisions, while the Façade Access division reported a lower order intake. Revenue decreased by 5% (a 1% organic increase) to SEK1.65 billion (US$1.75 billion), with strong performance from the Industrial and Façade Access divisions, while revenue decreased in the Construction, Height Safety & Productivity Solutions and Wind divisions.
