Elevator component manufacturer The Wittur Group announced that Peter Åman has been appointed managing director (MD) of Wittur Nordics, effective February 1. Wittur Nordics provides sales and after-sales service to Wittur customers in northern Europe from its premises in Spånga, near Stockholm, Sweden. Åman has worked in the elevator industry for the majority of his 15-plus year career, previously serving as MD of Stockholm-based elevator solutions provider Hissgruppen Sverige AB. He also held leadership and project management roles at Hiss-Craft I Norrland AB and Motum AB, both of Stockholm. “I am thrilled to join a company that has built a strong foundation and reputation in the elevator industry,” Åman said. “As we embark on this new chapter together, I am committed to building upon these strengths and driving innovation, growth and excellence.”
