AmeriTex Awarded Modernization Contract for Major DoD Hospital

AmeriTex Elevator Services, a family-owned and operated elevator contractor with offices in San Antonio, Texas, and San Francisco, California, has been awarded the Phase III elevator-modernization contract at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. The contract involves modernization of 12 traction elevators serving BAMC, the largest U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) hospital. The contract follows AmeriTex completing Phase I and II of the elevator modernization on time and on budget during the COVID-19 pandemic.
