Apex Lifts Fundraises for U.K. Sensory Suite

Apex Lifts — London’s largest independent lift manufacturing and servicing company — with the help of grants received from the Royal Warrant Charity Fund and South East Consortium, helped fundraising efforts to build a new sensory suite for Bexley Snap, a U.K.-based charity that provides programs and free play so that disabled children, young people and their families are enabled to lead full and fulfilling lives. Snap members and supporters raised more than £30,000 (US$37,070) in a year to fund the installation of the three sensory areas: the ball pool, sensory room and activity room, which houses the group’s most recent purchase — an interactive projector. The sensory suite officially opened on February 9.
