ASME Applauds First-Ever National CET Standards Strategy at White House Summit

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) joined U.S. Government agencies, Congress, industry and academia at the White House in Washington, D.C., on May 4 to provide input on a new National Standard Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET). ASME Chief Strategy Officer Michael Johnson represented the engineering community at the event. “As a voice for engineering worldwide, ASME is proud to be a part of today’s White House Summit on CET and applauds the release of the first-ever National Standards Strategy for CET,” ASME Executive Director Tom Costabile said.
