ATIS Announces Executive Leadership Changes

ATIS Ascenda Partners, LLC has announced two executive leadership changes. Charlie Slater has been promoted from chief operations officer (COO) — U.S. Inspections to executive vice president (VP), with a primary focus on strategic growth initiatives and industry relations. Providing vertical-transportation (VT) consulting, management and inspection services across North America, ATIS Ascenda Partners includes KJA in Canada. Prior to joining ATIS in 2014, Slater led A-1 Elevator Inspections until its eventual sale to ATIS. His 25-year VT industry career provides him with significant knowledge and insight about code development and regulatory trends on an international level, ATIS observed. Erin Scott has been promoted from senior VP of Inspection Operations to Slater’s former role, COO — U.S. Inspections. Prior to joining ATIS in September 2023, Scott held various leadership roles at Otis following a distinguished career with the U.S. Navy. She holds an engineering degree in aviation maintenance from Auburn University in Alabama. Both promotions became effective on January 1.
