Bayraktar Appointed GM at Istanbul-Based EKA

Bilgehan Bozkurt, who served as deputy general manager (GM) and GM of Istanbul, Türkiye-based Emlak Konut Asansör (EKA), respectively, since its establishment, recently handed over the GM position he has held since September 2022 to Kurtuluş Erdem Bayraktar. Bayraktar, who completed his electronics engineering and marketing MBA programs, started his career as an export sales engineer in the iron and steel industry. After a short period handling imports in the electronics industry, he joined the elevator industry with a global company, holding leadership positions with global companies for half of his elevator career and with domestic companies for the other half. In the elevator sector, Bayraktar has been involved in import/export, overseas training and duties, marketing/sales and project/field management. He also served as director and founding GM of a startup elevator company. He gained significant experience in this field performing tasks covering all aspects of the business.
