Bucher Hydraulics Acquiring Finland’s Hydman Oy

Bucher Hydraulics, the Germany-based global provider of innovative hydraulic drive and control technology for applications including elevators, announced on November 13 it is acquiring Hydman Oy, based in Tampere, Finland. Founded in 2008 and well-established in the Nordics market, Hydman develops and manufactures tailored hydraulic manifold systems. The company generates approximately EUR13 million (US$13.7 million) in annual revenue and has approximately 40 employees, all of whom are joining the Bucher Hydraulics team as the company is re-branded to Bucher Hydraulics Oy. The alliance aims to better support customers across Europe by making it easier to combine individual system components, as well as strengthen Bucher Hydraulics’ position in the Nordics.
