Canada’s AEDARSA Plans Seventh Annual AEIS

Alberta Elevating Devices & Amusement Rides Safety Association (AEDARSA) CEO Gord Pattison announced the association plans to host its seventh annual Alberta Elevator Industry Seminar (AEIS) on October 11-12 in Calgary, Canada. The seminar will once again bring together elevating devices experts and regulators to provide safety and regulatory information to elevator mechanics. The AEIS provides an opportunity for elevator mechanics to not only learn, but network with colleagues to gain a greater understanding of elevator industry safety requirements. “AEDARSA strongly believes that safety cannot be ‘inspected in,’ but must be built into the very fabric of the programs elevator companies provide,” Pattison said. “More importantly, mechanics are individuals who ensure that all the safety programs are carried out effectively.”
