The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) Elle-levator — Women in Industry group will meet in February with an in-person and virtual option. CECA member Louise Stalling of Mohawk College will host both sessions with a presentation on “Educational Opportunities in the Elevator Industry.” CECA Executive Director Catharine Bothwell says the intent of these sessions is to introduce members to the women in CECA while presenting an interesting topic of discussion. Members can register online for the Zoom meeting to be held on February 1, 2024, at noon EST. Online registration is also available for the in-person meeting on February 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. EST at Mohawk College. Attendees are invited to tour the campus and meet graduating students following the Elle-levator meeting. The CECA Central Region meeting will begin at 4 p.m., and a light meal will be served.
