CECA Western Region Meeting Upcoming

The Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) is asking for RSVPs ahead of its Western Region Meeting on Friday, October 13, at 9 a.m. PST. Held at the Italian Cultural Centre at 3075 Slocan Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, the meeting is open to all CECA members. Delco Elevator Products will give a supplier presentation, and coffee and a light snack will be served. In advance of a meeting with Technical Safety BC (TSBC) on October 18, CECA will collect feedback and concerns on the following issues: the mechanic skills passport issue raised by International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local 82, elevator codes and hoistway access consultation, results of the general fee increase consultation, the business transformation project and the upcoming design registration program engagement. The CECA office will be closed Monday, October 9, in observance of the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday.
